LunarPOS

LunarPOS is a point-of-sale (till) app for shop, restaurant, bar and workshop owners. Staff use it on an Android tablet at the counter to ring up sales, take payment, print receipts, manage stock and cash up at the end of the day. Owners and managers use it to see what sold, what is running out and what each till took. This is business software for merchants. It is not a shopping app and it is not intended for the general public. WHAT YOU NEED TO USE IT LunarPOS connects to your own business database. You need an account from EasyAs (www.easyas.co.za) before you can sign in. New installs start with a trial that is activated by your supplier. Without an account the app cannot load your products, staff or prices. RINGING UP A SALE - Touch screen with your own product buttons, grouped by department and category - Scan barcodes with a camera or attached scanner; weigh items on a linked scale - Take cash, card, account, voucher or gift card, and split one sale across them - Print a receipt to a slip printer, or email it to the customer - Refunds, exchanges, laybys and quotations - Manager approval required for price changes, refunds and stock adjustments RESTAURANTS AND BARS - Table plan you arrange to match the room, plus open tabs - Send orders to kitchen and bar printers as each course is fired - Add extras and cooking instructions to an item; priced extras show on the bill - Print a proforma bill for the customer before they pay - Take-away, collection and delivery orders STOCK CONTROL - Product file with cost, selling price, supplier, pack sizes and reorder levels - Stock counts: full stocktake, quick counts, or weighing open liquor bottles - Receive supplier deliveries and update cost prices as they come in - Recipes and manufacturing, so making a product deducts its ingredients - Reports showing stock losses and count differences MORE THAN ONE SHOP - Send stock from one branch to another and count it in when it arrives - Records what was sent against what actually arrived, so shortages are visible - Print or email a goods received note - Head office can push products, prices and promotions down to each branch CUSTOMERS AND SUPPLIERS - Customer accounts with credit limits, statements and payments - Supplier invoices, purchases and purchase orders - Loyalty points, promotions, specials and coupons END OF DAY - Cash up by counting notes and coins, with float handling - Sales history, daily totals and takings by till, staff member or payment type - Petty cash and expense tracking - Reports emailed to the owner automatically on a schedule you set LUNARAI ASSISTANT Ask questions about your own trading figures in plain language, such as which products sold best last week. Also reads a photo of a supplier invoice and turns it into a stock delivery for checking. STAFF Clock in and out, overtime and public holiday hours, payslips with tax calculated from current tables, and leave requests. JOB CARDS Booking and job tracking for car washes, laundromats, print shops, repair shops and vehicle servicing, including customer signature on collection. WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET Each till keeps its own copy of the data. If the internet drops, trading carries on and everything syncs back once the connection returns. HARDWARE Receipt and kitchen printers over USB, Bluetooth or network, barcode scanners, weighing scales, cash drawers, customer displays and supported card terminals.
