HOW IT WORKS 1. Launch DuoCam to instantly detect your device hardware capabilities. 2. Choose your preferred framing layout: picture-in-picture, split screen, or cutout overlay. 3. Frame your shot using the live on-screen viewfinder and tap record. 4. Adjust framing, trim clips, or swap layouts non-destructively in the gallery before exporting. WHY CHOOSE DUOCAM • Honest Device Detection: DuoCam checks your phone hardware on launch. If simultaneous dual recording is unsupported by your hardware, you receive a reliable single-camera mode with clear guidance rather than unexpected crashes. • Non-Destructive Flexibility: Never worry about getting the layout perfect on the first try. Change PiP size, position, and framing after filming. • Private by Design: All video processing, cutout extraction, and rendering happen 100% on your device. Zero uploads to external servers. • No Ads Anywhere: Enjoy a clean recording interface with zero advertising code built into the app. COMPATIBILITY Simultaneous front and back camera recording requires Android 11 or later and a device whose camera hardware supports concurrent multi-camera streams (found on most flagship and upper mid-range models from 2021 onward). On other devices, DuoCam provides a dependable single-camera recording experience. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS • Does DuoCam require an account? No registration or account is required.
