Full description
Roads run out. Signal runs out sooner. ZoRove is built for the part of the map where both have already happened — overlanding, van life, off-road, boondocking and the UK canals. Download the regions you're heading into before you leave, and the map keeps working with no bars — roads, terrain, contours, water and labels, on your phone. ZoRove is an independent app, not affiliated with or representing any government agency. Government data sources are listed at the end. OFFLINE MAPS THAT ACTUALLY WORK OFFLINE • All 50 US states plus England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as map packs • Downloads resume if interrupted, so a dropped connection costs you nothing • Works with the phone in airplane mode KNOW WHOSE LAND YOU'RE ON • BLM and public land boundaries • Wilderness areas • Active wildfire perimeters, refreshed through the day • Government campground data with facility types and reservation links • OpenStreetMap points of interest — fuel, water, dump stations, supplies FIND AND SHARE PLACES • Save campsites, dispersed spots and moorings with photos, notes and reviews • 40+ attributes per place — surface, shade, noise, road access, rig size • Per-carrier cell signal reports — know if you can work from there • Narrowboaters too — canal moorings, water points, Elsan, pump-outs and slipways, plus the UK canal network and towpaths offline YOUR RIGS AND YOUR TRIPS • Garage — vehicle specs, dimensions and mods, with VIN decoding • Boats too — serviced by engine hours, not miles • Record GPS tracks and keep a logbook of where you've been • Drop private note pins only you can see BUILT FOR BAD SIGNAL ZoRove talks to your phone's GPS chip directly instead of the location shortcut most apps use. That matters inside a steel narrowboat, a canyon or a dense forest, where the usual approach gives up and hands back an hour-old position. We show how old your fix is, so a confident-looking dot can't lie to you. NO ADS, NO TRACKING, NO DATA SELLING No third-party analytics. No advertising trackers. Your live location stays on your device unless you choose to save a place, track or note. We don't sell your data. Use ZoRove without an account, or make one to sync places and join the community. ZOROVE PRO A free 14-day trial, no card required, unlocks: public land overlays (PAD-US), Forest Service roads and trails (MVUM), state hunting units, cell coverage, GPS track recording, GPX import/export, weather, the baseplate compass, the RV leveler, unlimited private places and photo uploads. DATA SOURCES ZoRove is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency, and does not represent any government entity. Government data comes from these official sources: • Public land boundaries (PAD-US) — https://www.usgs.gov/programs/gap-analysis-project/science/pad-us-data-download • BLM recreation areas, OHV areas and routes — https://www.blm.gov/services/geospatial • Forest Service roads, trails and MVUM — https://data.fs.usda.gov/geodata/edw/datasets.php • Wilderness areas — https://www.fs.usda.gov/managing-land/wilderness • National Park Service trails and POIs — https://www.nps.gov • Campgrounds and reservations — https://www.recreation.gov • Active wildfire perimeters — https://www.nifc.gov • Magnetic declination — https://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/geomag • Vehicle VIN decoding — https://vpic.nhtsa.dot.gov • State hunting units — https://cpw.state.co.us, https://wgfd.wyo.gov, https://fwp.mt.gov, https://hub.arcgis.com/datasets/893e7c1df7c14e1c9744a6beadc3b3f8_0, https://wildlife.utah.gov Map detail and points of interest come from OpenStreetMap, cell coverage from CellMapper, and saved places from ZoRove users — none of it government data. Full list: https://zorove.com/help/data-sources ZoRove is not a substitute for proper trip planning, paper maps or good judgment. Public land boundaries and road status change; always verify locally before you commit to a route.
