Full description
Soil sample comes back from the lab. Now what? Zone Forge turns it into a variable-rate prescription that ships to John Deere Operations Center. Every rate traces to a published university source you can look up. No proprietary algorithm, no machine-learning black box. Built for the farmer on a phone, not a desk. Five minutes from upload to a prescription, at the back of the truck. Pricing — from $0.25 per acre Free, no card required. Two fields up to 100 acres each, two lifetime prescriptions, push to John Deere Operations Center. Paid plans (annual): • Starter — $199/yr · 5 fields, 250 ac · $0.80/ac • Grower — $799/yr · 25 fields, 1,500 ac · $0.53/ac (most common) • Operator — $3,299/yr · unlimited fields, 7,500 ac · $0.44/ac • Enterprise — $4,999/yr · unlimited fields, custom (above 7,500 ac) · ~$0.25/ac Founder Year 1: subscriptions started in the first 12 months from public launch get 20% off Year 1, auto-applied at checkout. Cancel any time; your data stays yours. Cheaper than AgLeader SMS ($1,295/yr), Climate FieldView Premium scripts (~$2,250/yr), and custom agronomist Rx ($4,500–$12,000/yr) at every farm size in the 200–10,000 ac band. Full comparison at zoneforgetech.com/pricing. What you get • Three peer-reviewed recommendation tables — Iowa State PM 1688, Tri-State 2020, Penn State Agronomy Guide — plus 40+ land-grant extension publications across 50 states. Your rate cites your state's publication, not a national average. • 14 nutrients (N, P, K, S, Mg, Ca, Zn, B, Fe, Mn, Cu, Mo, Cl, Na). • Three philosophies — Sufficiency, Build-and-Maintain, or Hybrid (default). Pick what fits your tenancy and budget; the math is documented. • Phosphorus extractant enforcement. Auto-detects Mehlich-3, Bray-P1, or Olsen and refuses to mix them silently. No more 20–40 lb/ac drift from mismatched calibrations. • Multi-year buildup planning. Set your own soil-test target and timeline; the engine spreads the deficit and warns you when rate caps shorten the math. • Stacked Litter → Potash → Nitrogen workflow. Drop a poultry-litter analysis, get three linked prescriptions, K and N credits subtracted per zone. • Litter lab-report import. Drop the PDF or snap a photo; the form pre-fills itself. Built for AgroLab, Waters, Spectrum, A&L Heartland, and others. • Lime engine, calibrated state by state — 50-state coverage. Calcitic vs dolomitic resolved from your soil Mg. • Sample-to-lab kit. Print Avery labels with QR codes, tap "Bag it" after each sample, pick from six US labs (Waters Ag, A&L, Ward, Spectrum, Midwest, Brookside), buy a UPS or FedEx Ground label on your own account, get a push notification when the cooler arrives. • Click-to-reassign zones. Five-zone default. Tap any contour to bump it to a different zone. Edit rates inline. Field totals and cost-per-acre update live. • Direct push to John Deere Operations Center. OAuth, validated shapefile export, live status polling. If the platform hiccups, your prescription stays saved and one tap retries. • Team chat with field context. Drop a field card into a message and your operator sees its shape, acres, crop, last work, and prescription-readiness. Voice notes with transcription, group chats, @-mentions. • Printable one-page field reports. Map, per-zone table, sources, your inputs — hand it to your agronomist, retailer, banker, or landlord. Studio for agronomists Managing many client farms? Studio adds white-label PDFs, a full audit log per client, and the same push into each client's equipment. $499 per year for unlimited clients, or $19 per active client per month for clients below Operator (Operator and Enterprise clients are free to manage). What's new

Pick your property now works in Pennsylvania: tap your field on the map and pick its property lines instead of tracing them. It covers 33 counties; where a county's terms don't allow it yet, the app tells you. Property cards also show how current their data is: the date of the county's records and the year the soil survey was published, so you can weigh an older record yourself.
