Charging at public charging stations is often ten times more expensive than charging at home. Most of us are paying a spot price for electricity at home. This means the cost of electricity is changing every hour during the day. The electricity can be cheap during some hour in the night, or some hours during the day. It even happens you get paid for using electricity at some hours. It is seldom the same hours are cheap during the week.
As an electric car is using quite a lot of electricity you want to be charge during the cheapest hours. In fact, you will save so much money on this that the cost of a ZmartCharge EV charger often is paid back during a year. Based on you charging history, the ZmartCharge AC charger will estimate how many hours of charge you need for the next charging session, find the cheapest hours and instruct the charging to take place during these hours.
Every time you plug in the charging gun, the system calculates the next charging session. This is fully automatic and there is nothing you need to do to make this happen. You can just relax knowing that you are paying minimum for every charge.
