Aetherial Requiem is a portrait, endless rune-link puzzle. On a 6×8 spirit lattice, five elemental runes appear in play. Drag through adjacent tiles of the same element to weave a chain; release with at least three runes to shatter them and earn Soul Score. Longer chains yield higher scores and raise your Resonance multiplier. After each clear, runes fall and new runes fill from above. Obstacle sigils spawn as your score crosses thresholds—they cannot be linked directly and must be cleared twice from neighboring chains. When no valid chain remains, the requiem ends, showing your run score and historical peak. Pause anytime to reweave the board, resume, or exit the sanctuary. Peak scores persist locally. The sanctuary menu offers Begin, Help (confirmation dialog), and Leave (confirm, then process exit).
