Designed for safety officers, industrial hygienists, and audio engineers, Decibel Core combines a real-time SPL meter with a NIOSH/OSHA compliant noise dosimeter calculator. Generate PDF reports, track Time-Weighted Average (TWA), and analyze frequency spectrums for initial noise assessments. NOISE DOSIMETRY SCREENING Turn your phone into a safety awareness tool. Monitor noise risk and screen workplace noise levels. • NIOSH & OSHA Standards: Calculates dose based on NIOSH (85dB/3dB exchange) and OSHA (90dB/5dB exchange) formulas. • TWA & Dose %: View real-time noise dose percentages and projected 8-hour exposure. • Risk Thresholds: Visual alerts for Safe (<85dB), Caution (85-94dB), and Danger (>=105dB) zones. This app cannot measure sounds louder than your device's hardware allows. 2. Voice Optimization: Phone microphones are tuned for human voice frequencies. They may not be accurate for very low bass or very high frequency industrial noise. 3. Screening Use Only: This app is intended for screening (identifying potential issues) and educational use.
