Reno Way

Plan 🗺️ a meat cure: draw a cut, set the dose and watch 👀 the salt spread. Reno Way is a planning tool 🛠️ for home meat curing. It shows how salt moves through a piece of meat, day by day, so you can choose a method and a dose before you start 🚀. Pick a cut from the library 📚 or draw your own on a grid. Set the method, the salt, the cure agent, the sugar, the temperature and the number 🔢 of days. The app 📱 turns your settings into a recipe in grams and checks the nitrite level 🧗 against a reference. Then run the diffusion. A heat map 🗺️ shows the salt level 🧗 inside the cut. Drag ✋ the timeline 🕒 to move through the days and see how the salt reaches the core. What you can do in Reno Way: - Start 🚀 from 11 cuts, including pork belly, loin, coppa, brisket, duck breast, salmon and ham. - Paint meat, fat, skin and bone on the cut editor, add needle sites, and set the size of the cut. - Choose from five methods: dry cure, equilibrium brine, brine, salt box and injection. - Read a report 🧾 with salt over time ⏱️, a depth profile and the key figures for the batch. - Compare ⚖️ all five methods on one shared timeline 🕒. - Keep your batches in a list 📋, search 🔍 them and see 👀 how far each one has progressed. - Switch units and the heat map 🗺️ colors, and set your own salt thresholds. The results are model estimates for planning only. They are not a food 🍎-safety guarantee. Keep curing meat cold and follow a tested recipe. Use Reno Way to plan 🗺️ a cure with numbers 🔢 in front of you.
