Asr can follow the standard or the Hanafi opinion — and also defaults automatically by country until you choose one yourself. Compare authorities side by side to see exactly how the times differ before you pick one. Outside Turkey, Diyanet applies local adjustments to its published times that the app can only approximate, so those times are marked "approximate". The Hijri date is shown alongside. Times are calculated on your device from each authority's published method and may differ by a few minutes from official calendars; for fasting and prayer, follow your local authority or mosque. This app is independent and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any of these organisations or any government. WHERE YOU ARE Use your device's location, or pick a city, or type coordinates by hand. Save the places you use often. A built-in city database means no lookup and no network. QUICK ACCESS A quick settings tile puts the Qibla one swipe away. CALCULATED, NOT DOWNLOADED The direction is calculated with the great-circle (spherical) formula, and the distance to the Kaaba with the Vincenty method on the WGS84 ellipsoid. Everything is computed on your device. WORKS OFFLINE, COMPLETELY The app has no internet permission at all. It cannot connect to anything, so it cannot send your location anywhere. It has no server of its own, collects nothing and shares nothing. Your saved places and settings stay on your device; if Google backup is turned on for your device, they may be included in that backup. No ads, no analytics, no accounts. AR mode needs camera permission and a compass sensor. Requires Android 7.0 or later.
