Neighborly

Neighborly helps adults find simple reasons to meet nearby—and keep the connection going after the first hello. DISCOVER SOMETHING WORTH DOING Browse local hangouts and communities with useful details about the plan, place, time, host, capacity, and group links. Search by activity or location. ACT ON A SMALL PLAN Join a walk, game, coffee, study session, or another low-pressure shared activity. Hosts can create and update hangouts, add covers, set recurring schedules, and coordinate with participants. CONTINUE THE CONNECTION See who is attending, visit and share member profiles, search for people by name, and use direct messages or hangout discussions to follow up. A private Activity inbox keeps message and hangout updates together. MEET THROUGH A SMALL CONNECTION COHORT Choose a friends cohort or a friendship-first dating experiment. Both begin with a small local group, shared activity, and meeting again—not profile swiping or automated compatibility scores. Placement and timing are not guaranteed. GROW THROUGH SMALL DAILY ACTIONS Use the Grow tab for lightweight connection-building habits. Progress stays focused on useful real-world action—not endless screen time. BUILT-IN SAFETY CONTROLS Neighborly is for adults 18+. Report profiles, messages, hangouts, communities, and discussion posts from inside the app. Block members to stop direct interaction and hide their discussion content. Review meetup safety guidance before participating.
