YouApprove is a parent-managed YouTube experience for kids. Parents sign in, unlock Parent Mode with a PIN, and approve the channels each child can watch. Kids get a Home feed and playback from that approved list. Each child can have their own profile, with separate approved channels and watch activity. Kids can ask a parent for videos or channels that are not approved yet; approval is required before playback. ANDROID DISCOVERY SETTINGS Discover and broader discovery Search are off by default on Android. Turning Discover on requires PIN-protected Parent Mode and Premium. Premium alone does not enable it. If a parent explicitly turns Discover on, the child's app can show channels and videos outside the approved list. Those items still require a request and parent approval before playback. Parents can adjust discovery permissions per child in Parent Mode settings. Parents can manage approved channels and review watch history and favorites. Premium subscriptions provide additional child profiles and Discover when a parent explicitly enables it. Parents should review channels and videos for their family's needs.
