ShellNest is an Android SSH client for developers, system administrators, and anyone who manages remote servers. Connect to Linux and Unix servers, run commands, manage remote files, and keep your server configurations organized in one focused app. Features: • SSH terminal Connect to remote servers and run commands with terminal shortcuts and command actions. • SFTP file management Browse remote directories, navigate between folders, upload and download files, and manage batch transfers with progress and cancellation support. • Server profiles Save multiple server configurations with favorites, recent connections, search, and quick access. • Host key verification Review the server fingerprint during the first connection and choose whether to trust it. Saved fingerprints can be viewed, copied, or forgotten at any time. • Default SFTP paths Set a preferred remote directory for each server and open it automatically when browsing files. • Encrypted backup and restore Export server configurations into a password-protected backup file and restore them on another device. Passwords, private keys, and key passphrases are never written to the backup file in plaintext. • Local secure storage Sensitive credentials are encrypted with AES-GCM using protection provided by the Android Keystore. • Light and dark terminal themes Choose the terminal appearance that works best for your environment. ShellNest does not require an account or cloud synchronization. Server configurations are stored locally on your device by default. Keep your backup password safe. Encrypted backups cannot be recovered if the password is forgotten. ShellNest is an independent SSH and SFTP client and is not affiliated with OpenSSH, Google, or any server vendor.
