Barnrise: Alarm Clock & Tasks

Barnrise is an alarm clock with wake-up tasks and a farm to look after. The alarm rings and you get a task. Solve it and you earn breakfast for your farm animal. Skip it and nobody eats. If you want an alarm clock with tasks that makes getting out of bed matter, Barnrise gives every morning a reason: someone on the farm is waiting to be fed. ■ Eight Wake-Up Tasks - Math problems - Word scramble - Word search - Typing - Shake — shake your phone - Photo proof — point your camera at something real, recognized on your device - Push-ups — counted by your camera - Go for a run — real steps, counted by your phone Math, word scramble and word search work like a puzzle alarm for your half-asleep brain; shake, push-ups and running get your body moving. Choose which tasks can wake you, set easy, medium or hard, and pick a new one every morning or the same one on the same weekday. ■ Eight Animals, One Farm You start with Hazel the chicken. Adopt Bess the horse, Scout the dog, Daisy the cow, Clover the sheep, Marmalade the cat, Biscuit the rabbit and Nibbles the goat with gold you earn by waking up — or unlock the whole farm with Barnrise Plus. Every adoption gets a name of your choosing and a keepsake certificate. Feed an animal three times and it loves you. Keep a streak going and every feeding is worth more gold: 20% more at three days, 50% more at a week, double at thirty. ■ Never Trapped If a task is too hard this morning, you are never stuck. Switch to a different task after two minutes, or walk away after five — the alarm stops either way, you just do not earn breakfast. An alarm should be hard to ignore, not impossible to escape. ■ A Serious Alarm Clock Underneath - Exact alarms that reschedule themselves after a reboot - Rings over the lock screen, climbing from quiet to the volume you chose — it never forces your phone to maximum - Repeat days, per-weekday schedules, vibration - Seven alarm tones, five named after your own pets — "Bess's Hay Jam," "Rise & Woof with Scout" - A Bible verse waiting for you every morning, free - No ads. No account or login required ■ Wind Down at Night Eight sleep sounds — box fan, white noise, brown noise, rain, ocean waves, a farm at night, a crackling fire, distant thunder. Set how long it plays and it fades out on its own, and it is always silenced the moment your alarm fires. ■ What Is Free The free version is a real alarm clock and a real farm: your wake-up time, repeat days, volume, vibration, the math task, Hazel the chicken, one sleep sound, and a Bible verse every morning all work without paying. Barnrise Plus adds all eight tasks, all eight adoptable animals, all seven alarm tones, all eight sleep sounds, and word-of-affirmation messages alongside your verse — for less than a cup of coffee a month, with a 7-day free trial and no ads, ever. ■ Permissions, and Why - Alarms & reminders: to ring at the exact time you set - Notifications: to show the alarm over your lock screen - Camera: only for the photo and push-up tasks, processed entirely on your device - Physical activity: only for the running task Each one is asked for the first time you use the feature that needs it. Someone on the farm is counting on you. Get up. Stay up.
