Full description
Can you feel time? A target appears - say 7.00 seconds. The screen counts down. Then a stopwatch starts, hidden, and the only thing that can stop it is you deciding the moment has arrived. No bar to watch. No meter filling up. Just your own sense of how long seven seconds really is. Stop Time Battle is a 2 player game you play on one phone, an online duel against a friend anywhere, and a reaction time trainer you play alone. 2 PLAYER BATTLE - SPLIT SCREEN, ONE PHONE One phone, two players, face to face. The screen splits and the top half flips around so you can both read your own side. Tap at the same instant and both taps are caught separately. Closest to the target wins the round, and the winner's half turns green. No second device, no wifi, no accounts. Pass and play at a table, in a car, in a queue, on a break. A round takes fifteen seconds and a rematch takes one tap, which is what makes it a party game rather than a demo. ONLINE BATTLE - PLAY WITH FRIENDS ONLINE Pick a nickname and challenge a friend wherever they are. No sign up, no email, no password - the nickname is the whole account. You each play the round on your own phone, then both see both times. Endless rounds, a running score and a rematch button. Send someone a link and it opens the challenge straight in the game. SOLO PLAY - THREE WAYS TO TRAIN YOUR INNER CLOCK FREESTYLE: endless rounds, every one graded PERFECT, GREAT, OK, CLOSE or MISS, with stars, your best-ever accuracy and a streak to protect. MOVING TARGET: five levels, and each one leaves you less room for error than the last. One averaged score at the end, and clearing all five is a perfect run. MARATHON: five legs that add up to one hidden total. Only the finish counts, so a leg you overshoot early is one you can still win back. Solo play works completely offline, so it is a no wifi game as much as a reflex test. MAKE IT YOURS Set the range targets are drawn from, from a twitchy 1 second to a properly tense 30. Hide the timer after one second if you want it pure. Sound and vibration on or off. NOT THE REFLEX GAME YOU ARE THINKING OF A reaction time test measures how fast you are. This measures how well you know how long a second is, which is a different thing, and one you can genuinely get better at. Speed will not save you. Nobody here wins by tapping quickly. GOOD FOR - Two player games for friends, couples, siblings, parents against kids - Playing with friends online when you are not in the same room - Split screen games where one phone is all you have between you - Party games and pass the phone games, when there is one phone between you - Classroom breaks, long car journeys, waiting rooms, queues - Anyone training time estimation, timing, focus or reaction time No accounts. No purchases. No timers to wait out. Just a stopwatch, a number and your nerve.
