YapRoll

YapRoll pairs you with a stranger who is online right now. Tap Search and the first person who fits lands in your chat. There's nobody to swipe through and no wall of profiles to browse. HOW IT WORKS Tell YapRoll who you'd like to meet: set an age range, the sexes you're open to, a region and the languages you speak. Then tap Search. If nobody online fits, it tries people who were around a few minutes ago. You get one person, straight away. Say hello and the conversation stays in your Chats like any other thread. If you back out without writing anything, nothing is saved and the other person never finds out you were paired. There's no "next" button. We left it out on purpose, because skipping is what turns random chat into a slot machine. And if a conversation isn't going anywhere, tap Delete for both and it's gone from both phones. YOUR FILTERS WORK BOTH WAYS Whatever you choose about who to meet also decides who can find you. If you only want to talk to women, only women will ever be paired with you, and the rule is the same for everyone. You can match on any of 33 languages. IN A CHAT • Text, and you can edit a message within 5 minutes after you send it • Voice notes, with a waveform you can tap or drag to jump around in • GIFs and a full emoji panel • Reactions: press and hold any message • Quoted replies • You see when they're typing, and when your message is delivered and read • Online and last-seen status • Pin, archive or mute a chat, or delete it just for you WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SEE Your display name, age and region, and what you're after (just chat, friendship or something more). Nobody sees your date of birth. Photos are optional, up to 6, and each one goes through an automatic check before anyone else can see it. If the check isn't sure, a moderator takes a look. There's no directory, so the only people who ever see your profile are the ones you're already talking to. SAFETY • Adults only. You have to be 18 or over to sign up. • Block anyone from the chat menu. They can't reach you again, and nothing tells them you did it. • Report anyone. A moderator reviews every report within 24 hours, with the last 20 messages of that chat attached. • Nobody can send you more than 10 messages in a row until you reply. • Photos and videos can't be sent in a chat. THE REST • Light or dark theme, following your phone unless you pick one • Two app icons to choose from • English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German, starting in your phone's language • Notifications for new messages and reactions, and you can mute any chat • You can delete your account in Settings and still change your mind for 30 days FREE, WITH ADS YOU CAN SWITCH OFF YapRoll is free and shows ads. If you'd rather not see them, Remove ads is a Google Play subscription, monthly or yearly, and you can cancel it in Play whenever you like. Sign in with Google, confirm your age, and you're all set to roll in!
