Full description
BrowserDrop is a LAN file share app that turns your Android phone into a local file server you can open in any browser. Want to access your phone from your PC, or transfer files from an Android phone to a computer without a cable and without the cloud? Pick one folder on the phone, scan the QR code — or type the 6-digit pairing code — and the same folder appears as a web page on your computer: browse, preview, download and send files back. Nothing to install on the computer, nothing uploaded to the cloud. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick the one folder you want to share (BrowserDrop never touches anything else on your phone). 2. Tap Start Sharing — a QR code and a local address appear. 3. Open them on any computer on the same Wi-Fi. A browser tab is all you need. WHAT YOU CAN DO IN THE BROWSER • Browse and search the shared folder like a real website • Preview photos, videos, audio, PDFs and text files in place • Download single files, or select many and grab one ZIP (keep or flatten the folder structure) • Drag files from the computer straight back into the shared folder • Watch who connected and what moved, in the activity log A PRIVATE FTP-SERVER ALTERNATIVE • Files travel only across your local network (your LAN) — never through any server, ever • Every new device must be approved from a notification on your phone • Sessions expire automatically on a countdown, and one tap stops sharing • BrowserDrop requests no storage permissions at all: it can only see the folder you picked • A persistent notification always shows when sharing is on PERFECT FOR Moving screenshots and camera photos to your laptop, pulling files off a work phone without cables or cloud logins, sharing a folder of designs or receipts with the person sitting next to you, or handing files to any device with a browser — including Mac, Linux, Chromebooks and tablets. Requires the phone and the computer to be on the same Wi-Fi / LAN. No account and no subscription. A small banner ad supports the app (never during a transfer); the one-time Remove Ads purchase hides all ads on every device of your Google account. Your files are never used for advertising. What's new

BrowserDrop can now download updates in the background and apply them on the next launch — no more checking the store by hand. The ad shown when a sharing session ends now appears at most once every 10 minutes, so quick stop-and-start cycles no longer trigger it back to back.
