Detour: Screen Time Challenge

You open an app to "just check" something. Forty minutes later you're still scrolling. Sound familiar? Detour adds a short pause with a purpose. Choose the apps you want to open less often. When you open one, Detour shows a quick brain challenge first. Answer it and the app opens. Miss it and you go back to your home screen — so every open becomes a real choice. When you truly need to get in, you have 3 skips a day. It's friction, not a lecture: a few quick questions that train your memory, math and focus in the moments you would otherwise lose. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose the apps you want to use less 2. Open one of them and a quick challenge appears (1–5 questions, you choose) 3. Answer correctly and the app opens 4. Answer wrong and you're back on your home screen — or use one of your 3 daily skips 8 CHALLENGE TYPES + YOUR OWN QUESTIONS • Quick Recall — Digits flash on screen.
