BENEFITS OF PLAYING TENNIS BALL CRICKET: It would be a folly to think that just because tennis ball cricket does not get the same level of recognition as regular cricket; it has no benefits at all. In fact, a lot of very successful cricketers credit their success at the international level to the lessons they learned at the tennis ball level. The king of Yorkers, Jasprit Bumrah, has publicly stated that he began practicing bowling yorkers while playing with the tennis ball. This was because at the tennis ball level batsmen are trying to hit a boundary off every ball, and hence practicing the yorker was the only way to contain runs and get wickets.
