Full description
WorkStation puts your team's chat, calls, meetings and work in one app. WHAT IT DOES Team chat — channels, group chats and direct messages. Reply to a message, edit, pin, react, forward and bookmark it. Share files, images, video and voice notes. Mentions and unread counts, and notifications that tell you who messaged you and never what they said. Calls that behave like phone calls — one-to-one voice and video. An incoming call rings over the lock screen, appears in your phone's call log, and keeps running while the screen is off or you are in another app. Meetings — scheduled or started on the spot, with a waiting room you admit people from, screen sharing, in-meeting chat, reactions, raised hands, polls, a shared agenda and breakout rooms. Guests can join from a link by typing a name, with no account. Meetings also get a short code you can read out. Live captions — speech-to-text that runs on our own servers, with each line attributed to the person who actually said it rather than guessed at. If our captioning is unavailable, your device's own speech recognition may be used instead, and the caption bar says which one is running. Recording — a meeting can be recorded to your workspace's own storage. Everyone in the room is told when recording starts. There is no covert recording in this product. Webinars — a public sign-up page, confirmation and reminder emails, an add-to-calendar file, and an attendance report afterwards. Q&A lets the audience upvote a question instead of repeating it, and a host can mark one answered or invite an attendee on stage. Attendees join muted with their camera off. Task boards — Kanban boards per Space, with lists, labels, priorities, due dates, checklists and a calendar view. A card can be made from a message. Patient queue — a board for a clinic where the card's title is a code rather than a person's name, with a waiting-room display and a tracker the patient can open on their own phone. Whiteboards — in a meeting, on a team Space, or on a board of your own: pen, shapes, text, notes, images, pages and export. An AI assistant — meeting summaries, action items, decisions and questions you can ask about a meeting; catch-up, draft replies and translation in chat. Every extracted item carries a quote from the source it came from. It is switched off until a workspace administrator turns it on. A private live copilot — during a meeting it transcribes what is being said and gives you talking points only you can see, plus a wrap-up afterwards that you choose what to keep from. Everyone is told when they join that participants may be using AI assistance. WHERE YOUR DATA LIVES We run the database, sign-in, messaging, the video servers and the caption speech-to-text on servers we operate. Files and recordings are stored with Cloudflare R2, and push notifications are delivered through Google's service; our privacy policy names every provider we use. Traffic is encrypted in transit: TLS to the API, and DTLS-SRTP for audio and video. Meetings in Healthcare mode are end-to-end encrypted with a key generated in your own browser, keep no recording and no transcript, and refuse AI features and broadcasting. Every other mode is encrypted in transit but not end-to-end, because the server has to decrypt to route and record. Access and administrative changes are written to an append-only audit log. This listing makes no claim of certification, audit or regulatory compliance. If your organisation needs a business associate agreement, a data processing agreement or a written security review, ask us and we will talk about it properly. WORTH KNOWING BEFORE YOU INSTALL You need a WorkStation workspace and an account; this is not a consumer messenger. Some features need a paid workspace plan. Plans cannot be changed in the Android app. Live captions are English. Camera and microphone are requested only when you start or join a call, and are used only for that call.

What's new

• Drafts: start a message, leave the chat, and it's waiting when you come back – on any of your devices, files included. • Messages now use the full width of your screen, and long links wrap instead of sliding sideways. • Hanging up a call now ends it for the other person right away. • A new launch screen. • Smaller fixes and improvements
