World of Riddles

Some riddles you can solve anywhere. Others are waiting in one particular place, and you have to go there. World of Riddles has two halves. The global list is open to everyone, everywhere. Bespoke riddles are pinned to real locations on the map and unlock only when you are standing at them. SOLVE - Word riddles, picture riddles, and the kind that turn on one word you skimmed past. - Timed riddles run against a countdown the server keeps, so there is no pausing to go and look it up. - Multi-part riddles unfold a step at a time. - Hints when you want them, and the solution when you have had enough. EXPLORE - A map of riddle locations, and a Nearby list of the ones within reach of you right now. - A riddle tied to a place stays tied to it. Going there is the point. WRITE - Write your own: plain riddles, timed ones, multiple choice, or answers typed out in full, with images if you want them. - Pin a location of your own and attach riddles that can only be played there. - Your reputation grows from how many of your riddles the community keeps. THE COMMUNITY DECIDES - Every riddle is rated on clarity, enjoyment and difficulty by the people who play it. - Riddles that consistently disappoint drop out of the list on their own. - Anything that breaks the rules can be reported, and other players vote on it. KEEP TRACK - A history of everything you have opened, statistics on how you are doing, and leaderboards. - Favourite the riddles, locations and creators worth coming back to. No ads.
