Weave - Optimistic Journaling

Weave is a place to write the good things down. It is built on the optimistic writing method: a short daily practice of writing, in detail, about true and good moments from your own life. Not affirmations, not a mood tracker — your own words about your own days, written in an order designed to make them stay. TEN MINUTES A DAY A guided daily sequence takes about ten minutes. There is no streak-shaming and no scoring of you as a person — just the writing, and a quiet record of having shown up. THEMES TO WRITE FROM When the page is blank, a theme gives you somewhere to start: a worry that ended, a kindness given or received, the way you see yourself, the world outside your window. You can add your own topics too. A JOURNAL THAT IS ACTUALLY YOURS You choose how each entry is protected, from ordinary storage all the way to zero-knowledge encryption — sealed on your device, unreadable to us, with no way for anyone at Wordweave to open it. You can also write in a mode that stores nothing at all. And you can lock the whole app behind your fingerprint. AN AI COMPANION, NOT AN AI JUDGE An optional writing check reads an entry back and shows you where the writing drifted from the method. Names and identifying details are masked before anything is sent for analysis, and the whole feature can be turned off. THREE LANGUAGES, PROPERLY English, Arabic and Spanish — with real right-to-left Arabic typography, not a mirrored afterthought. FREE TO USE Writing, your journal, the themes and the tests are free with an account. Rooted in published research on expressive writing, savouring, explanatory style and cognitive reappraisal — the science page on our site names every study.
