FREE FOR 30 DAYS Open Windrow, name your blocks, and make your first record standing in the paddock. The first 30 days are free. No card, no account, nothing to set up at a desk. THE RECORD IS MADE WHERE THE WORK IS DONE You have just finished a spray round. The light is going and your hands are wet. Tap what happened, pick the input off your list, add a photo, and the record is kept. Windrow works with no signal at all, so it works at the far end of the farm. The kitchen table stays clear tonight. Windrow keeps the records an organic operator holds under the Organic Products and Production Regulations 2025 and the Organic Standards Regulations 2025. Each form asks for what its clause itemises, with the clause quoted on the form. ONE TAP FOR THE JOBS YOU DO EVERY WEEK Pick the input and Windrow fills in the manufacturer, the source, the unit and the rate from the last time you used it. Tap "Same as last time" and today's record is done. The suggestions under each field are your own words from earlier records, so the app sounds like your farm. WHEN THE VERIFIER ASKS The regulations give you two working days to produce your records. Windrow needs one tap. Choose a date range and it writes one zip: the plan and every record as a PDF, every table as CSV, and the photographs. Share it from the ute or save it to a folder. A record made in error is marked as such and kept, with your reason. WHAT YOU CAN RECORD Input use, with the preventative measures you took first. Water. Waste and by-products. Pest, weed and disease methods. Cleaning and sanitising. Harvest. Transport and storage. Soil health and fertility. Retail sales. Sampling and testing. Conversion. Non-compliance and corrective action. YOUR INPUT LIST Enter the inputs registered with your certifier, one per line. When a record names an input that is missing from that list, Windrow says so on the spot. The approved list itself is held by your certifier and by MPI. EVERY BATCH HAS A STORY A batch for each lot you sell or supply. Inputs and ingredients received, with the supplier and the date. Consignments out, with the recipient and the checks made on dispatch. Open a batch and see what came in, what was harvested into it and what went out, with the quantities added up. THE PLAN, CLAUSE BY CLAUSE Your organic management plan follows Schedule 3 exactly: the operator and the responsible people, the activities, the site and its map, the key tasks, the products and inputs, the waste, the adjacent land, the procedures. Edit the draft, publish a version, and every superseded version is kept as it was published. WHAT YOUR SUBSCRIPTION PAYS FOR The organic regulations are new and MPI is still shaping them. The Operators notice of August 2026 added five kinds of record, and MPI is consulting on more changes. When a clause Windrow quotes changes, the form changes with it and the update reaches your phone through the Play Store. That is what the subscription pays for. Windrow is NZ$99 a year after the free 30 days, a small line beside the cost of certification itself. Everything you have entered stays open, and the export and your backups keep working. The subscription is what lets you make new entries. No account. No cloud. Your records live on your phone and are yours. Backups are taken automatically, and you can send a copy off the phone whenever you like. WHO DECIDES Windrow is a record of what the operator did. It is kept by the operator and exported for a verifier. Whether an input is permitted, whether a product complies with the organic standard, and whether an operation passes verification are decided by the operator's recognised entity and the Ministry for Primary Industries.
