Full description
Built by a rider, for riders, and given away free. WolfPack Dash is a glove-first dashboard with offline dirt-bike trail maps, voice turn-by-turn routing, and live GPS ride data on ANY bike — plus Bluetooth telemetry on some electric dirt bikes. No ads. No accounts. No tracking. Nothing for sale. It's a hobby project: please read the note at the end before you ride. 🗺️ OFFLINE TRAIL MAPS — ALL 50 STATES Download a whole state and ride with no signal. Routes are color-coded so you can see what the data says you can ride: • Green — motorcycle singletrack • Yellow — moto-legal 2-track / OHV road • Brown — jeep / 4x4 road (dashed if a plate is required) • Red — not open to motorcycles Trails are merged from U.S. Forest Service (MVUM), BLM and USGS data plus OpenStreetMap into one de-duplicated map. Tap any trail for its number, length, grade and season, and whether the moto call is ✅ Official (a government map) or ⚠️ Community-tagged (verify it). Out-of-season trails show a red candy-cane stripe. Search by name or Forest road number. Maps cover the US only; elsewhere the dashboard, tracking and weather still work. 🧭 OFFLINE VOICE NAVIGATION Long-press the map for spoken turn-by-turn directions, worked out on the phone; your route never leaves it. It prefers moto-legal trails and avoids hiking-only and out-of-season ones where it can - always check the route yourself. 📊 RIDE TRACKING Your ride records itself. Save it, see altitude and speed graphs, replay it as a fly-through, or export GPX / KML. Plus a weather forecast. 🏍️ ELECTRIC BIKE TELEMETRY (some bikes) On compatible electric dirt bikes, connect over Bluetooth for live speed, battery, per-cell voltages, temperatures and range, on four dashboard faces with 22 color themes. The app NEVER CHANGES ANYTHING ON THE BIKE: it shows what the bike streams and asks for the rest with read-only requests. Live data depends on your bike's firmware; some recent firmware no longer shares it. 🧤 BUILT FOR GLOVES Big buttons and bold, high-contrast readouts made for gloves. 🔒 PRIVATE BY DESIGN Nothing leaves your phone except anonymous map & weather downloads, a scrubbed crash report (you can turn it off), and — only if you ask — an encrypted backup of your setup and rides, a trail you share, or a ride's 3D flyover. ❤️ FREE, FOREVER Nobody makes a cent from it. Optional donation links go straight to trail-advocacy groups, never to us. 🔗 WHERE THE TRAIL DATA COMES FROM (public government sources) • U.S. Forest Service — MVUM & National Forest trails: https://data.fs.usda.gov/geodata/edw/datasets.php • Bureau of Land Management — ground transportation data: https://www.blm.gov/services/geospatial • U.S. Geological Survey — The National Map: https://www.usgs.gov/programs/national-geospatial-program/national-map • Some state trail data, used the same way. Also OpenStreetMap contributors: https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright ⚠️ PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU RIDE WolfPack Dash is a free hobby project from Chadware LLC, provided as-is with no warranty. It is NOT a government app: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the U.S. Forest Service, BLM, USGS, any government agency or any bike maker. Trail data is re-published from the public sources above and can be incomplete, out of date or wrong — trails may be closed, seasonal or private, and the map is not a legal record. Bike readouts may not always be accurate. Keep your eyes on the trail, and never rely on this app as your only navigation. Obey posted signs, closures and seasonal gates, respect Wilderness and private land, and ride only where you know it's allowed. You ride at your own risk: Chadware LLC and the people who build and test it are not responsible for any damage to your bike, your phone or yourself from using it. Android 8+. Bluetooth telemetry needs a supported electric bike and firmware that still shares live data; the maps, navigation and ride tracking work on any bike — or none.

What's new

Electric riders: if a bike firmware update stops the live readouts, the app now notices straight away, explains it once, and switches to the GPS dashboard — speed, trip and map — instead of leaving you staring at empty gauges. It also stops the endless background reconnect attempts. You can retry any time from the Bluetooth menu. Maps, GPS, trails and ride recording are unaffected.
