ROOF AREA & PITCH CALCULATIONS • Enter length, width and roof pitch to calculate sloped roof surface area. • Choose building dimensions with an overhang allowance or roof dimensions that already include the overhang. • Calculate gable, shed and flat roofs. • Estimate rectangular, equal-pitch hip roofs. Use manual roof planes for irregular footprints, unequal pitches or valleys. • Combine multiple roof sections in one project. • Work in imperial or metric units and view industry-standard roof squares: 1 SQ = 100 sq ft.
