Full description
Turn your phone into a wireless webcam for OBS, video calls and streaming — with nothing to install on your computer. Open a browser. Point it at your phone. You're live. WHY THERE IS NOTHING TO INSTALL Other wireless webcam apps ship a desktop client you have to download, trust and keep updated. Wireless Webcam does not. The control panel is a single page served by the phone itself, over your own Wi-Fi. Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari — Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS — if it has a browser, it works. The video goes phone to computer directly over WebRTC. No cloud relay or account needed. WORKS WITH OBS STUDIO - Add the phone as a Browser Source and it appears as a clean camera feed. - A separate dock page gives you resolution, framerate, bitrate, zoom and camera switching inside OBS itself - Both pages are served by the phone — there is no need to install plugins CONTROL IT FROM THE BROWSER Resolution, framerate, bitrate mode, digital zoom, microphone and camera switching are all adjustable live from the browser while you are streaming. Useful when the phone is on a tripod, clamped to a shelf, or otherwise out of reach. ON THE PHONE - Camera switching mid-stream - Digital zoom and touch-to-focus - Privacy mode — cuts the feed instantly, with no black flicker - Landscape lock for tripods, foldables and tablets - Picture-in-Picture — the stream keeps running when you leave the app AUDIO Use the phone as a wireless microphone over the same connection: hardware echo cancellation, noise suppression, adjustable input gain and adaptive feedback suppression. LIVE TELEMETRY The browser panel reports live FPS, bitrate, codec, resolution, battery level and CPU temperature, plus orientation, compass heading and GPS when you want them. Handy for a phone mounted somewhere you can't see. LOOKS AFTER YOUR PHONE - Thermal protection steps the resolution down automatically when the device gets hot - Pocket detection pauses capture if the phone goes in your pocket while running. - Power saver blanks the screen after a delay without interrupting the stream - Idle and background timeouts stop a forgotten stream from draining the battery KEEPS OTHER PEOPLE OUT Set a username and password on the phone and the browser is asked for them before it sees anything. WHAT'S IN THE FREE VERSION - 720p and 1080p - 30 fps - H.264 hardware encoding - Up to 5 Mbps - Browser control panel - OBS browser source and OBS dock pages - Wireless microphone with echo and noise handling - Full telemetry readout - mDNS auto-discovery and QR code pairing - Password protection - No watermark, no time limit, no ads WIRELESS WEBCAM PRO Pro adds 4K at 60 fps, H.265/HEVC, bitrate up to 25 Mbps, manual camera controls (focus, ISO, shutter, white balance, exposure compensation), focus peaking, zebra stripes and a live histogram for framing, dual camera mode streaming front and back at once, motion detection with automatic idle, and HTTPS and IPv6 for the network. REQUIREMENTS Android 7.0 or later. A modern browser on the receiving device. Both devices on the same Wi-Fi network. No internet connection needed. Built by one developer who wanted to run a remote tabletop game over OBS and got tired of watermarks, 720p caps and desktop clients. Feedback is welcome, it goes straight to me and will help improve the app.

What's new

Runs smoothly on budget phones and tablets. An Amazon Fire 7 went from 2 fps to 720p at 30 fps. - Swap Camera in the browser now works. - Manual exposure, focus and white balance stay set after a restart or a camera swap. - Picking a frame rate the camera can't reach no longer drops the video to 10 fps. - Pasting the plain address into OBS now opens the camera view. - Phones that can't run both cameras at once no longer offer it.
