Wirefrag: Pure Arena FPS

Wirefrag is a competitive arena shooter focused entirely on speed, aim, and momentum. There are no loadout handicaps or pay-to-win mechanics. You spawn in with maximum health, all weapons, unlimited ammo, and zero self-damage. The action starts immediately. Movement Speed and map flow dictate everything. The movement mechanics are designed so you can navigate maps without losing momentum. You can chain wall-kicks, mantle vertically, and super-slide to outmaneuver opponents. The arenas are built to support this, letting you exploit every ramp, corridor, and jump pad for continuous movement. Weapons The arsenal is stripped down to five highly efficient weapons prioritized specifically for arena combat. • Blade: Quick melee finisher. • Repeater: Mid-range automatic rifle. • Mortar: Explosive projectiles for direct hits and bounce shots. • Cannon: Heavy rocket launcher for massive splash damage. • Laser: Pinpoint railgun for one-shot vaporizations. Mobile Controls We designed the inputs to feel closer to a desktop experience rather than a cluttered mobile screen. The controls are natural and responsive, letting you hit flick shots, instant 180 degree turns, and mid-air tracking. You can completely customize your HUD and rely on fluid gesture dashes to move accurately. Performance and Geometry The neon retro-futuristic art style uses intentionally simplified map geometry and lightweight textures. By stripping away memory bloat, enemy visibility remains crystal clear and the game locks directly to your screen refresh rate. You get a guaranteed 60 or 120 FPS on almost any device. Maps and Modes Launch into 8 custom starter maps scaled for different match sizes. We are also bringing full support for custom user-defined maps (textureless/graybox/blockout) built in the classic .map TrenchBroom format. Play online or entirely offline. Match sizes include 1v1 duels, 2 to 4 player shootouts, and 4 to 8 player deathmatches. If you want to practice, you can jump into offline matches with bots programmed to strafe, bunny-hop, and fight like actual players.
