Sailor from Today is a naval survival action RPG with long-term progression, bringing together deck combat, ship management, and crew survival. Crew System Overhaul Notice August 13, 2026 Hello everyone, this is PD Winter Voyage. This update makes major changes to the progression system of Sailor from Today. Previously, dying during a voyage reset your level, experience, Gold, and many other growth values. Only some permanent progression purchased with Hope carried over to the next voyage. However, the game is closer to a long-term journey in which players repeatedly break through a fixed route and gradually grow stronger than to a traditional run-reset game whose stage layout changes substantially every run. We realized that this structure did not fit a progression system that reset after every voyage. Starting with this update, we are therefore changing the game's direction from repeated run resets to long-term progression. Gold, experience, character levels, skill points, skill progression, equipment upgrades, and other major progression records now remain even after defeat. The entire save and progression structure has been redesigned so that the time invested in one voyage continues to matter in the next. Character progression is no longer shared by all four heroes. Each hero now has their own level, experience, skill points, skills, and perks. You can focus on your favorite hero or develop several heroes in different directions. Existing save files are designed to migrate to the new progression structure as safely as possible. Because this is a major save-format change, older saves or different data used across multiple devices may still cause issues during migration or cloud comparison.
