Full description
Your Maidenhead locator and the bearing to any other station in seconds, free forever. One purchase, no subscription, opens the full workbench. Try it for 72 hours first, with no payment details. THREE AREAS, NOT ONE QTH: your Maidenhead locator from GPS or typed coordinates, at 4, 6, 8 or 10 characters, with a list of recently calculated paths. Sunrise, sunset and solar noon for your square are part of the unlock. PATH: great-circle distance and bearing between any two locators, drawn on a compass rose with the short and long path, in true bearings rather than magnetic throughout. WORKBENCH: 29 offline calculators. Antennas: half-wave dipole, inverted V, quarter-wave vertical, ground plane, J-pole, full-wave loop, cubical quad, Yagi-Uda, end-fed half-wave and magnetic loop. Coax and SWR: a bundled cable table carrying exactly the European types most US-focused ham apps leave out, namely Aircell 5/7, Ecoflex 10/15, H155, H2000 Flex and Westflex 103, alongside RG-58/174/213/316, LMR-195/240/400/600, Belden 9913 and RG-6/8X/11, plus SWR and return-loss conversion, stub lengths and a quarter-wave transformer. Matching networks: L-network, pi-network, gamma match and balun/unun turns ratio. Bench calculators: LC resonance, reactance, filters, power and level conversion (dBm/dBW/W/Vrms/Vpp), ERP/EIRP, E-series preferred values, and resistor colour and SMD codes in both directions. Reference: Q-codes, the phonetic alphabet and the RST scales. FREE FOREVER, NO UNLOCK NEEDED Locator and path, complete and with no time limit, plus eight workbench calculators: LC resonance, reactance, filters, power and levels, ERP/EIRP, Q-codes, phonetic alphabet and the RST scales. No account, no sign-up, no demo mode. THREE DAYS TO TRY THE REST The unlock can be tried in full, once, for 72 hours. The trial asks for no payment details, starts no subscription and does not renew itself. When it ends the free tier is there again and nothing is lost. WHY LOCATOR AND WORKBENCH, NOT JUST A LOCATOR Most apps that surface in a locator search do exactly that and nothing else: one screen, one number, no reason to open them twice. QTH starts with the same job, free forever, and does not stop there. The same app that gives you your grid square also has the antenna, coax and matching calculators you need next. WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO No IARU band plans, because they change and we will not ship stale data. No cloud sync, no login, no callsign lookup, no in-app product other than the one-time workbench unlock. No data leaves your device. QTH requests no internet permission and works entirely in flight mode, on a summit or in a basement shack. Every antenna and coax formula is checked against a published reference: the ARRL Antenna Book, manufacturer cable data sheets, or standard textbook values. Buy once. No subscription. No ads. No account. No tracking. Always usable offline.
