SEE THE LIGHT YOU CAN'T SEE Most spy cameras need infrared LEDs to record in the dark, and that IR light is invisible to you but not to your phone. Turn off the lights, open CamGuard's infrared view, and invisible IR shows up as a bright dot on screen. Smoke detectors, alarm clocks, air vents, chargers, mirrors, TVs: the places hidden cameras actually get installed. CATCH THE LENS BY ITS REFLECTION A camera lens throws back light differently than the surface around it. The lens reflection scan makes that tiny, sharp glint stand out: the pinhole camera in a plug socket, a picture frame, a shelf. It's the detail the naked eye walks straight past.
