WholeTracker: Public Safety

WholeTracker is the field app for public safety teams. Officers and responders capture evidence, keep notes, check equipment in and out, take part in incidents and stay connected with their team, all from their phone, with or without signal. It connects to your organization's WholeTracker platform, so everything captured in the field reaches your administrators and records as soon as it can. EVIDENCE • Submit found property and evidence for review straight from the scene • Add photos, a case number, what it is and where it was recovered; location is recorded automatically • A short bag code is generated on the phone, even with no signal, to write on the bag • Follow each submission through review: awaiting review, sent back with a reason, or approved with its item number • Amend, withdraw or resubmit a submission before the property room books it in • Every action is recorded against the officer, as part of your agency's chain of custody FIELD NOTES • Write notes, record voice memos, and attach photos and video • Keep notes on an incident or event, or in your own log • Notes save with no signal and send automatically when you are back in coverage • See at a glance whether each note has been sent INCIDENTS AND EVENTS • See the events you are assigned to and check in and out • Respond to availability calls • Answer personnel accountability (PAR) checks and acknowledge safety briefings EQUIPMENT AND ASSETS • Check equipment in and out on a shared scanner or your own phone • Scan barcodes, QR codes or NFC tags, including your agency's existing labels • Take out and return quantities, and see what you are carrying TEAM COMMUNICATIONS • Team messaging with photos, video and voice messages • Push-to-talk voice channels • Alerts and full-screen emergency notifications • SOS panic button and lone worker check-ins • Duty status WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL Evidence, field notes and many actions are saved on the phone and sent when a connection returns. The app tells you when you are offline and what is still waiting to send. SHARED OR PERSONAL DEVICES Use WholeTracker on shared scanners at a station, where each person signs in with their badge and passcode, or on an officer's own phone. FIND A DEVICE Administrators can make a device light up or ring to find it, and a device can highlight itself in the admin to show which one you are holding. SECURITY Passcode protection for each user, two-factor authentication for administrators, and devices registered to your organization. ALSO FOR EQUIPMENT TRACKING Teams outside public safety use WholeTracker to track tools, IT equipment, rental gear and inventory: fast barcode, QR and NFC check-in and check-out, quantities, and a record of who has what. REQUIREMENTS WholeTracker requires an account with an organization that uses the WholeTracker platform. Available features depend on the modules your organization has enabled. Location sharing is used only when your organization enables it, for example while you are on duty.
