Dive Timer

Dive Timer is a training app for freediving and spearfishing. It uses the barometric pressure sensor in your Garmin watch to detect dives and surfacing automatically, giving you clear dive timing and recovery guidance. Features include automatic dive detection, recovery ratios (1.0x–4.0x), vibration alerts, a visual countdown during recovery, and a dive time offset (0–15 seconds) for breath-up. You can switch between automatic and manual modes depending on how you want to train. Settings let you adjust thresholds, recovery ratios, and dive time offset, with all preferences saved between sessions. Press and hold to enter the menu. The interface is designed for underwater readability with clear states (Surface, Dive, Suspect) and controls. Note: If your device doesn't have a pressure sensor, the app will automatically use manual mode with button controls for dive timing. Important: This app is for training and logging only. It is not a dive computer and must never be used for safety-critical decisions. Always dive with a buddy and follow safe freediving practices.
