Wekup is an alarm clock that won't let you go back to sleep. Set your alarm, and when it goes off it keeps ringing on your phone's alarm volume - in the background, with the screen locked, even if you've swiped the app away - until you complete your wake-up task. Only finishing the task switches it off. WHY WEKUP KEEPS RINGING Most alarms are easy to kill. You reach out, tap dismiss, and you are asleep again before you have registered what happened. Wekup plays its alarm through a foreground service on your device's alarm audio stream, so the sound survives the notification shade, the volume keys, and the app being closed or swiped out of recents. It starts only when an alarm you scheduled actually fires, and it stops the moment you dismiss it or complete your wake-up task. It never runs between alarms. WAKE-UP MISSIONS - Math Problem - solve a sum before the alarm will stop - Push-Ups - the camera captures you doing a set - Item Search - photograph a specific object elsewhere in your home - Affirmation - read an affirmation out loud - Bible Verse - read a verse to start the day - None - a plain alarm, for when you just need one ALARM TONES Nine tones, from gentle to unavoidable: peaceful, birds, piano, ambient, guitar, rooster, mayhem, buzzer and crying baby. You can manage or cancel yours any time in Google Play.
