Full description
A hand that gives for ever lasting benefit By giving, we sculpt paths of love, we feel happiness together, we exchange reward and goodness. Giving is a value that Mrs. Maryam Al-Saad instilled in us in her persistence and insistence on meeting the needs of people in all its forms. Allah Says: (5) As for him who is charitable and righteous. (6) And confirms goodness. (7) We will facilitate for him the path of ease The Mariam Al-Saad Charity Institution was founded by the children, acquaintances and lovers of Madam Mariam Abdulla Al-Saad may Allah rest her soul, and we currently operate as per the guidelines and doctrines set forth during her lifetime, in providing all sorts of aids to those in need. The Institution began operations in March 2006, by providing the following services: Accumulating the cases which were helped by Madam Mariam Al-Saad may Allah rest her soul, by establishing a database through visits and documentation of those cases, as the total number of families registered is 751 from Muharraq, 240 from Arad, Hidd and Galali, and 100 from the rest of the areas within the Kingdom of Bahrain. The services provided to those families during that period were the following: Monthly aids. Periodic aids, both financial and material. Financial and material aid, along with coupons during Ramadhan. Orphan sponsorship. School supply aids, in the form of school uniforms and stationary. Providing electrical appliances of all sorts and throughout the year. Providing new and second hand furniture. Providing new and second hand clothing. Providing blankets for the winter. Providing Eid aids. Distribution of Eid Sacrifices (Adhahi). Hajj and Umra aids. Medical treatment aids. Home restoration aids. (Mariam A-Saad Production Program), which provides financial and service aids to those families that seek to improve their finances, and so far 6 families have been chosen under this project. (Teach a Child Project), which aims at supporting children registered in Kindergartens with an annual fee ranging from 300-350 BD. Holding 25 charity fairs. (Quench my Thirst Project) to offer water for laborers in summertime, in addition to distributing gloves and hats in wintertime. Holding an all-girls camp in summertime, to encourage volunteer work. Sponsorship of many university students by paying their tuitions.
