Weather9 Live

Weather9 is a lightweight weather app with a private messaging area protected by a PIN. ---------------- WEATHER ---------------- - Current temperature, sky conditions, humidity and wind speed - Multi-day forecast with the high and low for each day - Pull down to refresh the data at any time - Clean, simple interface with no ads ---------------- PRIVATE MESSAGING ---------------- Alongside the weather screen, the app includes a messaging area reserved for users who have been given an account: - One-to-one chat with the person who manages your account - Send text messages and photos - Reply with a quote, react with a heart - Unsend a message for everyone, or remove it only on your side - Sent, delivered and read status - See when the other person is typing - Get notified when a new message arrives ---------------- PIN PROTECTION ---------------- The messaging area always sits behind a 6-digit PIN that you set yourself on the device. The PIN is required every time you reopen the app, so anyone who picks up your phone still cannot read your messages. The PIN is stored only on your own device as a one-way hash. It is never sent to our servers and cannot be recovered by anyone. ---------------- HOW IT WORKS ---------------- The weather screen works right away, with no sign-in required. The messaging area requires a 6-digit login code issued to you by your account manager. The app has no self-registration. If you do not have a code yet, please contact the person who referred this app to you. ---------------- PRIVACY ---------------- - We do not collect your location - We do not read your contacts, call logs or SMS messages - Only the exact photo you choose to send is accessed - No ads and no behavioural tracking - All connections are encrypted The notification permission is used to alert you about new messages. Photo access is used only when you choose to send a photo. Questions? Contact us at: [email protected]
