The station reflects the rich cultural soundscape of NE London and SW Essex, broadcasting uplifting, energetic and culturally diverse music aimed at a broad 16–45 audience. WaveUp Radio offers a distinctive mix of rhythmic global sounds, inspirational Gospel mornings, reggae-driven drive-time, Bollywood afternoons, smooth R&B evenings and late-night chill sessions. The service operates 24 hours a day, with a structured weekday schedule and Weekend Guest DJ Takeovers that showcase specialist DJs, live mixes, and community-driven talent. The station’s mission is to deliver a positive, inclusive and rhythm-led listening experience, promoting emerging artists alongside established acts, and providing high-quality entertainment that reflects the multicultural identity of the broadcast area. All programming complies with the Ofcom Broadcasting Code, with robust content review and logging systems in place.
