Full description
Wave Keep is a tower defense game built for young children - and built around one idea: some places along a path are good places for a tower, and some are not, and you can learn to tell which by looking. Drag your finger anywhere on the screen to steer your hero. He fires at any bug that comes into range, all by himself, so there is nothing to aim and nothing to tap. Bugs that fall drop coins. Stand still on a build pad and those coins turn into a tower. That is the whole game. No menus to learn, no buttons to hunt for, no timers to come back for. WHAT YOU DO • Steer a hero with one thumb — drag anywhere, release to stop • Collect coins before they run out, twenty-five seconds after they drop • Stand on a build pad to spend those coins and raise a tower • Defend the keep through waves of bugs, then face the boss at the end • Learn where towers belong: the end-of-level card shows every tower you built and how much work it actually did, biggest first, so a tower in a poor spot is plain to see WHAT IS IN IT • 8 hand-built levels, each one introducing exactly one new tower • 8 towers — Turret, Split Shot, Cannon, Spider Bot, Laser, Arcane Orb, Sniper and Tremor • Bugs that each need a different answer: fast Scorpions, armoured Moths, swarming Spiderlings, and a Warrior Ant that shrugs off small hits • 8 boss creatures, one at the end of every level • Easy, Normal and Hard, picked from the start screen before a run begins • A picture book of every tower and every bug, filled in as your child meets them • Your best run remembered — how far you got, how much got through, how many coins you kept MADE FOR CHILDREN, AND MADE HONESTLY • No ads. Not a banner, not a video, not one • No in-app purchases. Nothing is locked, nothing is sold • No accounts, no sign-in, no email address • No data collected and nothing sent anywhere — the game makes no network requests at all • Works completely offline, on a plane or in the car • One hand, portrait, no reading required to play FOR PARENTS Wave Keep is a thinking game wearing an action game's clothes. Failure is gentle: losing a level restarts that same level straight away with a friendly card and nothing taken away. There are no lives, no energy, no waiting, and no reason to come back at a particular hour. The lesson underneath it is spatial reasoning — reading a path, judging what a spot can cover, and choosing between more options than you can afford. Every level deliberately offers more build pads than the level can pay for, so which ones your child leaves empty is the decision the game is really about. The card at the end of each level is where that decision becomes visible, without an adult needing to explain it. Tower defense, for the age where a game still gets to teach something.
