Full description
VisionCalc 1.0 is here VisionCalc is a professional engineering toolbox designed for machine vision engineers, automation engineers, system integrators, and industrial imaging professionals. Version 1.0 includes a collection of essential calculators for machine vision system design, camera and lens selection, resolution evaluation, line scan applications, and image data estimation. Key Features Field of View Calculator Estimate horizontal and vertical FOV from sensor size, focal length, and working distance. Focal Length Calculator Calculate the required lens focal length based on sensor size, working distance, and target FOV. Magnification Calculator Calculate optical magnification from sensor size and object-side field of view. Spatial Resolution Calculator Calculate object-space resolution in mm/pixel and estimate how many pixels cover a target feature. Required Camera Resolution Estimate the required camera resolution based on FOV, minimum feature size, and desired pixels on target. Minimum Feature Size Estimation Evaluate the theoretical minimum detectable feature size of a vision system. Sensor Size Calculator Calculate sensor width, height, diagonal size, and megapixel resolution from pixel count and pixel size. Camera Bandwidth Calculator Estimate raw image bandwidth from image resolution, frame rate, and bit depth. Line Scan Calculators Calculate line rate, conveyor speed, and motion-direction resolution for line scan applications. Exposure Time Calculator Estimate the maximum exposure time based on object speed and allowable motion blur. Storage Calculator Calculate image size, data rate, and storage requirements for continuous image acquisition. Additional Features Metric engineering units Fast parameter input Real-time calculation updates Dark mode support Favorite tools Recent calculation history No account required Core calculations work offline VisionCalc 1.0 is our first official release. Future versions will introduce a sensor database, telecentric lens tools, depth-of-field calculations, vision system design assistance, and additional machine vision engineering utilities. Thank you for using VisionCalc.
