Vinealto Learning teaches wine one question at a time. You start the course with a dish and a wine, and you say how well they go together. You answer, and the reason appears. What you find hard comes back sooner. What you have mastered comes back less often. A few minutes a day is enough, and eventually you have deep wine knowledge imprinted in your long term memory. FOUNDATION, FREE Where everyone begins, with how to taste, how to serve and the basics of pairing. There are 131 questions to work through and three chapters of our book, The Foundations of Wine Knowledge, to read in full. Finish Foundation and you earn a certificate to download. THE CERTIFICATE Two parts, taken in order. Part 1 covers the foundations and the wines people drink most. Part 2 covers the vineyard and the rest of the wine world. Part 1 gives you access to the full examinable text inside the app, so the chapter behind each question is one tap away, with its maps and illustrations supporting and explaining the concepts. Each part earns its own certificate and badge. TASTERPRO Your first three tastings are free, and Certificate Part 1 opens the rest. You will be led through a structured tasting where you record what you see, smell and taste. You are told where you assessed the wine correctly and where you did not. TasterPro follows the Vinealto tasting grid, so what you practise on is the method you are examined on. The blind taster is supported by three blind tasting programmes, including the Master TasterPro Challenge, where you can assess your progress and challenge others. THE FELLOWSHIP The rest of the syllabus, then the examinations. There is an online exam with exam practice, and a tasting exam taken in person. The exam practice is a way of assimilating the knowledge gained through the multiple choice questions, which further embeds it in memory. Through the comprehensive exam practice questions you will become aware when you are ready for the examination. Pass the examination to become a Vinealto Fellow, with the badge, the certificate and, if you choose, your entry on the public register. ONE ACCOUNT Learn in the app or at vinealto.com.
