The NewsPro Buzz app drives a community-centric news and information service you can participate in by sharing or selling your videos/pictures from local events and happenings to local Media outlets. Hometown television, radio stations and newspapers subscribing to the NewsPro service have real-time access to up-to-the-minute contributions from local citizens, using the content in media workflows or posting it to social media feeds. For national or world level breaking news stories, the NewsPro Buzz app is like carrying a lottery ticket on your smartphone. If you happen to be at the right place at the right time, NewsPro will help you capitalize. Most people simply post compelling video on social media, without much (if any) financial return. NewsPro changes all that. If you have something special, we will partner with you to market and license your video or picture to top tier news organizations worldwide. Rewards can be significant, as networks compete fiercely for breaking news. Few videos are compelling enough to warrant national attention. NewsPro, however, also helps you monetize content of local interest by supporting the sale of video or pictures from local events and happenings. Local Media outlets with websites and Facebook pages have an insatiable thirst for fresh, compelling content. The NewsPro Buzz app lets you request modest payment from Media outlets to license your content. Most video contributed with the NewsPro Buzz app will simply be shared with local Media outlets and other Buzz users. Shared content is accessed freely by local Media to post on their websites or use on television, radio or in newspapers. Media outlets can solicit content via the app itself, which lists requests for coverage of upcoming local events of interest. Users can “tag” their video to a specific event, potentially taking part in contests or other media promotions. Lastly, the NewsPro Buzz app is a good source of information as to what’s going on in your community. All videos contributed are viewable by other users from your region, while the app’s integrated event list shows what’s going on in your hometown today – highlighting events that are of specific interest to local Media outlets.
