German Verbs B2 C1: Verbindung

"Eine Entscheidung machen" is understandable, and wrong. A German speaker says "eine Entscheidung treffen". Verbindung drills exactly that difference: which verb actually belongs with which noun. These are the Nomen-Verb-Verbindungen and Funktionsverbgefüge that separate correct German from natural German: Rücksicht nehmen, zu einem Ergebnis kommen, in Frage stellen. Most apps teach you the noun. The hard part was never the noun.
