📚 Karelian Multimedia Dictionary is a friendly way to explore the Livvik dialect of the Karelian language. The app is based on the Open Corpus of Veps and Karelian Languages. Dictionary entries include a Karelian lemma, Russian meaning, part of speech, and audio pronunciation when available. 🔎 Search the dictionary your way: • Search Karelian lemmas at the beginning, inside, or at the end of a word • Search by Russian meanings • Listen to recorded Karelian pronunciation 🎮 Learn through play: • Listen and Guess — hear a Karelian word and choose its Russian meaning • Match Pairs — connect Karelian words with their Russian translations • Track your progress as you restore word pairs and practise vocabulary 🌿 Whether you are studying Karelian, exploring the language, or looking up a word, the dictionary is here to help you listen, search, and learn.
