Full description
Walk the truck, tap each item, sign, done. Pre-Trip Inspection & DVIR helps drivers keep their own inspection records on the phone: the tractor and every trailer you hitch, one checklist per unit, in the order you walk around them. OK, Defect or N/A with one tap. It works with no signal, in the yard or at a rest stop. Write up a defect the way a mechanic needs it: what is wrong, where, how bad, whether the truck should roll, and photos from the camera or your gallery. Open defects stay on the list and show up on every inspection of that unit until a repair sign-off closes them. The next driver can review the last report and sign that they saw it. Sign on the glass and the report locks. Nothing in a signed report can be changed afterwards; corrections go in as dated amendments printed underneath, and the app tells you if a record has been altered since it was signed. Keep a history per truck and trailer with an odometer log, set reminders for the annual inspection or registration, and share a PDF of any report. Built-in checklists for tractors, straight trucks, buses, vans and trailers are based on the parts listed in 49 CFR 396.11, written in plain English. Copy one and make your own for anything else you run. What this app is not: This app is an inspection record-keeping tool. It is not an electronic logging device (ELD), it does not record hours of service, and it makes no claim of FMCSA registration, approval or compliance on your behalf. You remain responsible for meeting your regulatory obligations and your carrier's requirements. For personal record-keeping. Not an official document. No account. No ads. No location. Your reports stay on your phone. Free: one power unit and one trailer, pre-trip and post-trip checklists, defects with photos, signing and locking, every report you ever made, and the last 7 days of vehicle history. Pro: unlimited trucks and trailers, full history and odometer log, custom checklists, signed mechanic sign-off and repair history, reminders, DVIR PDFs, history PDF and CSV, restore from backup. Pro monthly, Pro yearly or Pro lifetime; prices shown in the app come from Google Play.
