It was in ISOO 2019 at Los Angeles that we won a bid to host the event in 2024 in Goa, India. Our vision then as it is now, is to open doors to the academic meeting to a wider population that will be more accessible and affordable. ISOO 2024 will be offering a comprehensive programme focusing on the practice guidelines and advancement in the field on ocular oncology. Pre-conference interactive hands-on workshops will be covering a wide range of diagnostics, and surgical procedures including plaque brachytherapy. The conference agenda is to provide updates on the latest insights into ocular oncology research, treatment modalities and innovations in the field. The scientific sessions will address all topics of interests in the realm of ocular oncology, that will include research papers, case studies and case reports. Invited named lectures and keynote addresses will witness the legends sharing their insights. Since it is the amalgamation of the visionaries in the field, it is an incredible opportunity to network and collaborate fostering the exchange of ideas and best practices. Whether you are a clinician, researcher, or industry professionals, the meeting offers a unique opportunity to stay at the forefront of ocular oncology and enhance your professional development. Be it a seasoned practitioner or a newcomer, ISOO 2024 promises to be a valuable and enriching experience. Goa was chosen as the venue due to its unique blend of nature, history, cultural richness, and modern amenities. Additionally, Goa’s reputation as a tourist destination ensures that the delegates can access a wide range of accommodations, dining options and recreational activities. Overall Goa’s allure as a location makes it an ideal choice for hosting an academic meeting that combines scholarly pursuits with leisure and cultural exploration. Fairooz P. Manjandavida, MS, FRCOphth, FACS Congress President, ISOO 2024.
