The scroll is not a decision. It is a reflex — the thumb moves before the mind arrives. Brixo puts a moment back between the reflex and the feed. When you open a watched app, Brixo does not ask for a password. It asks you to earn the visit: - The Text Gate. Type a passage of philosophy, letter for letter. Copy and paste are disabled. A wrong letter is marked, and must be corrected. - The Breath Gate. Breathe with a paced ring — in for four, hold, out for eight. Leave the screen and the count resets. Finish the gate and you receive a Mindful Access Token: a set number of minutes in which the app opens freely. When the token expires, the gate returns — even mid-session, even while you are scrolling. The block is real, and it is yours. THE GATE DEEPENS AS THE DAY FILLS The first gate of the day is the shortest. Use the app again and again, and the gate carries more: another cycle of the breath, longer passages to type.
