Play local media and manage your files in one app. UX Player combines a video and music player, a full file manager, a private Locker and Status Saver. MANAGE FILES AND FOLDERS Open Files to browse and search accessible shared-storage folders, including documents and other non-media files. Create folders, select multiple items, and copy, move, rename, delete or share them. Browse categories for videos, music, photos, PDFs and APK files. Open a selected APK through Android's installer when you choose. Android controls installation approval. PLAY VIDEOS AND MUSIC Watch videos stored on your device with playback resume, speed controls and supported subtitle and audio-track options. Listen to local music with playback controls and background media controls. Format and high-resolution playback support depends on your device and the media file. KEEP SELECTED FILES IN LOCKER Import videos, music, photos and PDFs into an encrypted private Locker. Set your own PIN, use supported biometric unlocking if enabled, organize items and restore them when needed. Your PIN stays on your device. Copying an item can leave the original outside Locker. There is no online PIN recovery; resetting Locker, clearing app data or uninstalling can permanently remove locked files. SAVE STATUSES LOCALLY Choose a Status folder through Android's folder picker, preview available images and videos, and save copies to your device. Save or share only content you have permission to use. UX Player is not affiliated with WhatsApp. ACCESS AND PRIVACY The integrated file manager uses All files access on supported Android versions to manage media and non-media files across accessible shared storage. Older versions use storage permissions. Android's protected-folder restrictions still apply. Local file contents and Locker secrets are not uploaded to UX Horizon cloud storage. No UX Player account is required. Privacy settings includes ad privacy choices and separate optional Firebase and Meta measurement choices for adults. ADS AND ALLOWANCES Playback and Status Saver use the allowances shown in the app. Rewarded ads may be offered to add playback time or Status saves.
