Torch Scan: Document Scanner

Torch Scan turns your phone into a document scanner. Point the camera at a page. The app finds the edges, straightens the page, and cleans it up. Your scans stay in a library on your phone, and you can share any of them as a PDF. The app is free. No ads, no watermarks, no subscription, no account. WHAT IT DOES - Finds the page edges automatically - Straightens and crops the page for you - Cleans off shadows, stains, and stray marks - Color, grayscale, and black-and-white filters - Up to 100 pages in one document - A library that shows a thumbnail, page count, word count, and detected language for every scan - Rename, sort, and filter your scans - Continuous reader with a numbered page filmstrip and pinch to zoom - One PDF per document, in small, medium, or original quality, shared to any app on your phone PRIVACY Torch Scan has no servers. Scanning, text recognition, and language detection run on your phone. The only permission the app asks for is the camera. There is no account, no login, and no tracking. A document leaves your phone only when you send it yourself, through the share sheet or your own mail app. CERTIFIED TRANSLATION WHEN YOU NEED ONE If a scan needs a certified translation, you can request a quote from the same screen. The app shows an estimate and opens your mail app with the document attached, so you can send the request. Nothing is charged in the app. You confirm the price and the delivery by email before you pay anything. If you never need a translation, you can ignore this feature. WHY IT IS FREE Torch Scan is made by U.S. Language Services LLC, a certified translation company in the United States. Our business is translation, not apps. More than 300 law firms work with us, and we translate documents in more than 35 languages. That is why the scanner has no paid tier and is not a trial. U.S. Language Services LLC is not sponsored by or affiliated with the United States Government or any department or agency thereof.
