EASY CONNECTION TO BROTHER PRINTERS Connect your compatible Brother printer over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB, choose the roll or tape and print straight from the app. No separate Brother app or printer driver is needed. Scan printer model numbers and roll codes to make setup quicker, and save your printers for next time. Brother QL — DK rolls, continuous or die-cut, including black-and-red printing with compatible printers and rolls. Brother P-touch — TZe tape from 6 mm to 24 mm, depending on the model. Brother VC-500W — full-colour labels, including coloured weekday bands. USE BY Choose how long an opened item lasts or enter a date, then tap to print. Scan a packet’s EXP or Best Before date and the app uses the earlier of that date and the date calculated from your chosen duration. DAY DOT Create weekday labels for kitchen preparation and storage. Each day has a distinctive shape. Free includes today’s date and the default action; Pro adds different actions, dates and other label details. COPY Move cooking instructions from the packet to the container. Capture the packaging, select the area you need, check and edit the recognised text, then print. Add a short line to a Use By label, or to a Day Dot with Pro. Longer text prints as separate labels on a compatible QL. CHECK View printed labels grouped into Expired, Near expiry and Still fine. Search your history or scan a shelf to find labels whose dates need attention. Pro lets you reprint labels from Check and the Day Dot list. WEEKDAY COLOURS AND PRINTER ROUTING Assign tape colours to weekdays and receive a mismatch warning on printers that report their loaded media. You can also assign a different printer to each day, with labels routed automatically. HOME SCREEN WIDGETS Home screen widgets give you quick access to all the app’s features, including scanning, Use By, Day Dot, Copy, Check and Fast labels. Use the duration grid for quick printing. FREE AND PRO Free has no daily limit on labels printed using a duration or a manually entered date. It includes three packet scans per day, shared between date scanning and copying instructions. Label checking, shelf scanning and printer setup do not use that allowance. Free also includes basic Day Dots with today’s date and the default action, plus up to three saved printers with weekday routing. Pro is a one-time purchase with no subscription. It adds unlimited packet scans, up to ten saved printers, reprinting and one-tap Fast labels. Day Dot extras include different actions and dates, a use-by date, copied text and a time stamp. Your Pro purchase is linked to your Google account and can be restored on a new device. ON-DEVICE SCANNING No app account or sign-in is required. Camera text recognition runs on your device. COMPATIBILITY AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION Printing requires a compatible Brother label printer. Connections and label options vary by printer, media and device. Not every combination has been tested.
