On Dare you don't like people. You dare them. To reach someone, you take a selfie right now with the in-app camera (no gallery, no filters) and ask them a real question. They get your dare with your photo blurred. To see you, they have to dare too: they answer with a selfie of their own, or write the truth in reply to your question. Only then is your photo revealed and your chat opens. It's a little harder than a swipe. That's exactly the point: whoever takes a step towards you really wants to meet you. HOW IT WORKS • A selfie, now. Swipe a card up or tap Dare. The front camera opens, and your face has to be in the frame. • A real question. Pick an idea from the list or write your own. • They dare too. They have 24 hours to answer with a selfie (Dare) or in writing (Truth). "Later" gives them another 24 hours. • You talk. Once they answer, your conversation opens. MORE THAN A CHAT • Messages, photos and voice messages of up to 2 minutes. • The flame: a message or photo sent with it burns once the other person has seen it. • The lock: send a photo they see only as a blurred shadow until you open it. If they're curious, they can ask you to unlock it. • Edit a message within 15 minutes, or unsend it. • "True or false?": a question game inside the chat. You both answer, and you see the answers only once each of you has replied. • Daredevil: a bolder mode that starts only if you both want it. If you go quiet for 12 hours and one of you writes again, the other sends a fresh selfie first to see the new message. Either of you can stop it at any time. WHO YOU SEE • Choose who you want to meet (men, women or everyone), the age range and the maximum distance. • Met someone and only know their first name? Search for it. • Going somewhere? Set the town by hand and have people to meet when you land. • Keep someone in Favourites for 48 hours while you make up your mind. • Civil Mode: when you need some quiet, Dare goes silent (tap the Adventure Settings title three times to find it). Nobody sees you, you lose nothing, and the dares you've received don't expire. SAFETY FIRST • Adults only. Dare is for people aged 18 and over. Your date of birth is set once and can't be changed. • Every photo is checked automatically before it reaches anyone. Explicit nudity doesn't get through. • Dares start with a selfie taken on the spot, with your face in the frame, never one from the gallery. • Report or block people from the three-dot menu: in a chat, on a dare you receive, on their card, or on their profile in Favourites. We read every report. • Message notifications never show what was written to you: only who wrote and how many messages are waiting. • Your exact location stays private: others see only how far away you are. YOUR ACCOUNT • Sign in with your phone number (a code by SMS) or with Google. No password. • Delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → App Settings → Delete account.
