Cost Atelier

Cost Atelier is an offline personal price journal that helps you record product prices and compare purchase options by unit cost. Save a product, store, total price, package quantity, unit, and date, then view the calculated cost in a common base unit. All entries and settings remain on your device without network access or background synchronization. Browse a searchable product catalogue with categories, latest prices, package sizes, unit costs, and price-change directions. Sort and filter your records, archive products you no longer track, or open a product to review its minimum, maximum, and current unit price. A simple chart and detailed history show how recorded prices have changed over time. Compare two to five saved or manually entered package options. Compatible quantities are converted to a common unit, ranked by unit cost, and shown with absolute and percentage differences. Analytics for a week, month, three months, or a custom period can highlight increases, decreases, category activity, recurring stores, and estimated savings based only on the prices you have entered. Use the dashboard to review tracked products, recent entries, notable changes, and quick actions. Customize money formatting, base mass and volume units, the default analytics period, archive inclusion, and local reminders. Clear comparison history or reset all local data with confirmation, while empty, incomplete, and error states provide clear guidance throughout the app.
