Unfold

Unfold is a Bible study app designed to give you everything you need to study God's Word, without getting in the way of studying God's Word. TAP THE VERSE When a verse stops you, tap it. A commentary note opens right there in the passage — no second app required. These are more than 1,000 notes Neil Broere has gathered over fifteen years from sermon outlines, classes taught around the world, and the margins of his own Bibles, alongside trusted voices from church history. Some verses also include a video devotional. GO DEEPER WITHOUT LEAVING THE PAGE Tap Deep Dive and the rest of the study tools are one tap from the text: - Nearly 13,800 word studies — what the original Hebrew or Greek word means, how it's used elsewhere, and how teachers from church history have understood it - An interlinear, so you can see the original word lined up with the English - Hyperlinked cross references that slide open, let you read, and close again without losing your place - Book Breakdown and Context — each book of the Bible at a glance, its place on the biblical timeline, and an answer to "Where is Jesus in this book?" A READING PLAN YOU WON'T STALL OUT ON The Unfold reading plan divides the Bible into ten reading streams and moves you through them one chapter at a time — a chapter from the first stream, then the second, on down the line, then back to the top. It has been refined over the past fifteen years by Neil, a pastor, writer, and Bible teacher, and it's deliberately designed so that you experience the full scope of Scripture. You're never more than a few days from a psalm, a Gospel, an epistle, or a prophetic book. And passages you'd never have read close together start explaining each other. Scripture sheds light on Scripture, and the Word begins to unfold. There's no schedule to fall behind on. The plan isn't tied to dates — it waits for you. Open the app and your next chapter is right where you left it, whether you read yesterday or three weeks ago. A JOURNAL THAT KEEPS WHAT YOU FIND Your notes link to the verses that prompted them. Add photos, sort entries into folders, or record a voice memo when typing is too slow. Every chapter ends with a reflection question, and your answer goes straight to the Journal. Give it a year and you'll have a record of what God has been saying to you, in your own words. FREEDOM WHEN YOU WANT IT Explore Mode lets you go anywhere in the Bible — revisit a chapter, chase a reference, sit in one book for a week. And when you're ready to jump back into the reading plan, Resume Plan puts you back exactly where you left off. READ TOGETHER Invite your spouse, family, or friends to read alongside you and share notes on the passages you're in. NEW EVERY WEEK Receive exclusive devotional videos in the app every week.
